NSW Cancer Conference 2022

On behalf of Sydney Cancer Partners, Maridulu Budyari Gumal – SPHERE and NSW Regional Health Partners, we are pleased to announce the inaugural NSW Cancer Conference 2022 to be held on the 15-16 September 2022 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
The conference represents a significant milestone for cancer research in NSW, providing a state-wide, cross institutional meeting focused on cancer research. The event will build on existing relationships and collaborations to present an inclusive and accessible conference promoting understanding across institutions in NSW.
The event aims to showcase existing and emerging strengths in cancer research in NSW and beyond, through high-calibre presentations from international, interstate, and local speakers, incorporating perspectives from across the translational research continuum. The program will feature a broad spectrum of cancer research endeavours – including basic biomedical, public health, clinical and psychosocial – making the latest information and research available to researchers, clinicians, students and consumers. Also included will be relevant and topical panel discussions and educational workshops highlighting the importance of consumer involvement. Poster presentation opportunities via abstract submission are especially encouraged from postgraduate students and early to mid-career researchers.
We look forward to welcoming you at this face-to-face event over two days at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, to enhance collaborations and provide networking opportunities for all cancer researchers in NSW.

The NSW Cancer Conference 2022 Local Organising Committee invites the submission of abstracts for original work for consideration in the Conference Program.

All successful abstract presenters (oral or poster) will be required to register for the conference by the Early Bird deadline in order to keep their presentation in the program.
