Supporting future research leaders through a new Translational Partners Fellowship award
Sydney Cancer Partners is pleased to announce a new Translational Partners Fellowship scheme. The purpose of the SCP Translational Partners Fellowship scheme is to build translational research capacity by fostering an enduring collaborative partnership between a researcher and a clinician researcher, who demonstrate potential as future research leaders. To ensure impact on clinical outcomes and research culture, the partnership will be connected with, and supported by a relevant Clinical or Multi-Disciplinary Team.
SCP will make up to two Translational Partners Fellowship awards, which will include support for a translational cancer research project and salary support for both applicants. The award is a maximum of $300 000 per annum for three years. In addition, SCP will provide mentoring and facilitate networking support for Translational Partners Fellows.
SCP Translational Partners Fellows will be selected following a two-stage process:
Expression of Interest – applications close 5pm, 29 June
Full application (by invitation only) – applications open 10 August and close 21 September
Full eligibility, terms and conditions, and application information is available in the TPF scheme guidelines.
